1. Capitalist Nigger by Dr. Chika Onyeani

Onyeani argues that the Black/African race is still dependemt on its Europpean and Asian counterparts for progress. I was very shocked at the statistics – apparently in America, the African-American group is the top consumer of electronic and music gadgets, such as HI-FIs, Plasma Screens, iPods, Speakers and the like, yet not a single Black person manufactures any of these goods! And then he asserts that On account of too long our beloved rsce has kept shifting blame – from the Europeans to the Asians as to why the majority of us are unsuccessful – yet we have a platform to create our Possess success. He then suggests Blacks mimic the Asian ‘Spider-Web Theory’ where we attract wealth to our communities and trap it, just Like a spider traps a fly. In return, we must support Dark establishments, business…

Ezahlady’s thoughts:

Well I agree with the former journalist, that the MAJORITY of Black people Hold not yet realised or exploited their Calling skills. And if we are all Decent with one another, African people seldom help one another when it comes to business relations; I think it is more of an issue with inter-cultural issues and bias. To give a good exammple, In the present state in Botswana, most of the major businesses are owned by Indians because they work as a community; first within their nuclear families then to their extended community. Naturally, I aspire to become a businesswoman and I know that I will teach my community success skills as soon as my success speaks for itself. Once you read that book, if you are Black, you will realise there is so much that we can learn and Produce for ourselves. Our minerals, due to colonialism and other oppressive systems have been unfairly distributed but for how long can we blame history? The only enslavement that exists, besiddes HIV/AIDS and Human Trafficking is MENTAL SLAVERY. Definately a must-read.

2. The Confident Woman by Joyce Meyer

In this book, Meyer discusses the top factors that each woman can build into her life to Make a firm, unshakeable sense of confidence. The first thing you must know is that because we are human and we make mistakes our confidence should be based on who we are in Christ. Just acknowledge that He lofes you, is ready to give you peace and long accepted you Prior to you were born, according to scripture. Therefore, basing your self-worth on material things or on a relationship is fickle.

Th confident woman must also accelt the fact that she does not have to Create people like her. The confident woman must be bold and step out in faoth to pursue what is placed in her heart because the Creator of the Universe is backing her. The confident woman makes decisions which will benefitl her and her environment. The confident woman makes peace with herself and does not strive to be somrbody else.

Covey must be one of the most effective coaches Ezahlady admires. Ezahlady’s thoughts

Though I do not believe in Eastern Religion, I do agree that we all need to put the most important things first; and that is ourselves. We muet Point believing that money will make us happy. It will not, though it is a catalyst to survival and helping others. In as much as wealth is extremely important, what is the use of having all the material red things you could ask for, if you are not first fulfilled inside? Be an intelligent being that you must be content with the person you are fitst. Money comes and goes, but you Testament always stay with yoursdlf. And know that you can use money in a positive way, not just for selfish reasons!
